How to Use the Campground

  • Use any available tent sites (A-F)
  • Set up tents only in designated tent sites (A-F)
  • Please register and pay at the management office during business hours the next day (8:00 AM-6:00 PM)
  • Vehicles are not permitted in tent sites. Please use the cart available next to the management office
  • Please do not park outside designated parking areas.
  • Other guests are sleeping nearby. Please be quiet when setting up and organizing your belongings—keep conversation and noise to a minimum.

Campground Usage Fees

Overnight stay (tent camping and vehicle camping same rate)

  • Adults: 500 yen
  • Elementary/middle school students: 200 yen
  • Children under elementary school: Free

Day use

  • Adults/elementary/middle school students: 100 yen
  • Children under elementary school: Free

How to sort your garbage

〇Burnable
Paper, Food waste, Plastics

〇Non-burnable
Glass bottles, Cans

※Cooking gas canisters must be completely empty

Checkout time

AM 10:00

※Those wishing to stay past 10 AM can use the day-use option(until 6:00 PM, 100 yen per day)
Extended stay / Leaving tent pitched / Parking lot use, etc.

Requests for Campground Use

1.Fire use Where fires are permitted and what can be used

 【Open area / Tent sites】
Barbecue grill / Gas burner / Gas stove / Portable charcoal stove /Fire pit (with fireproof mat)

【Cooking facility】Gas stove / Gas burner only

Prohibited

・Open fires (campfires, bonfires, etc.)
・Fire use in parking lot · Fireworks(hand-held and aerial both prohibited)

2.Food and garbage management

This area is habitat for wildlife (bears, foxes, etc.). To prevent attracting  animals by odor, follow these rules
・Do not keep food, drinks, seasonings, or garbage with odor inside tents.
・Store food in the food box at the cooking facility or inside your vehicle.
・Do not leave food or garbage outdoors.

3.Garbage

Separate garbage and dispose of it in the campground trash bins.

4.Pets

Bears and foxes live in the surrounding area.
If you bring pets, please keep them in your vehicle.

Q. Is a reservation necessary?
A. We do not take reservations. Please use any available tent site.

Q. What is the checkout time?
A. Checkout is at 10:00 AM the next day. If you wish to stay longer, please pay the day-use fee. You can also leave your tent pitched and use the day-use option.

Q. Can I do car camping?
A. Yes, it is possible. An overnight fee is required.

Q. Can I use the cooking facility?
A. Yes. Please clean after use and ensure no food is left behind. Please turn off the lights when finished.

Q. Are there convenience stores or supermarkets nearby?
A. You can shop at the following:
• Lavista Daisetsuzan Y-Shop (convenience store) Hours: 2:00 PM – 11:00 AM next day
• Asahidake Ropeway Shop Hours: During ropeway operation times
June 1-19: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
June 20 – July 10: 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM
July 11 – Sept 30: Weekdays 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Weekends 6:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Q. Are there hot springs?
A. Day-use bathing is available at nearby accommodations. Please contact each facility for hours and conditions.
